On April 2nd, after a grim, grey wet morning the sun came out so we went off to our favourite field at the edge of the National Forest to walk the dog. The camera went with me too and on the way we saw a raised verge full of daffodils with the late afternoon sunshine behind them. “Here we are dressed in our finest” they said so of course I stopped for a few minutes dialogue. I had the Fuji X-Pro2 with me and my general walk about 18-135 lens and the 60mm Macro; on it went – well it seemed a good opportunity to try it out on the new body. It was quite blustery so there were a good few frames which only made it as far as the digital dustbin but, for a quick hand-held bash, I was pleased with the keepers.
